1. Definitions

• "Plan" means the personalised subscription meal plan created for a Customer's dog based on the information provided by the Customer.
• "Add-ons" means optional items, including bone broth and treats, that may be added to a Plan for an additional charge.
• "Transition Period" means the initial two-week period during which a dog is gradually moved from its current food to its Bowl d'Amour Plan.
• "Delivery Area" means Delhi NCR, the only area in which Bowl d'Amour currently delivers.
• "Community Friends Program" means the fixed-price meal program described in Section 13, intended for the feeding of community/stray dogs.
• "Subscription Term" means the fixed period — one (1) month or three (3) months, as selected by the Customer — for which a Plan is purchased and paid for in advance.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years of age and competent to enter into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
• You must have a delivery address located within the Delivery Area.
• By placing an order, you represent and warrant that the information above is true and accurate.

3. About Us

4. Description of Services

Bowl d'Amour provides a subscription-based, personalised fresh food diet for dogs, built around each dog's weight, breed, age, activity level and health condition, and adapted over time rather than fixed to a single recipe. Recipes are formulated with reference to the FEDIAF (2024) and AAFCO (2016) nutrient guidelines.

Plans are available for adult dogs (above one year old), including for seniors, weight management, sensitive digestion, specific allergies or intolerances, and recovery or diagnosed medical conditions, subject to Section 9.

Bowl d'Amour is a subscription service and not a one-off meal delivery service: the nutritional balance of the diet is achieved over a week, season or life stage, not necessarily within a single meal or delivery.

5. Your Account and Accuracy of Information

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information you provide about your dog, and for keeping it up to date as your dog's circumstances change.

For any diagnosed health condition, we require confirmation or guidance from your veterinarian before finalising the relevant recipe.

If you feed only part of your dog's diet through Bowl d'Amour while sourcing the remainder elsewhere, we cannot guarantee that your dog's overall diet remains balanced or complete.

6. Orders, Subscription and the Transition Period

Each Plan is purchased for a Subscription Term of one (1) month or three (3) months, as selected by the Customer, and paid for in full in advance.

Every Plan begins with a two-week Transition Period, during which measured packets of Bowl d'Amour food are introduced gradually alongside your dog's current food.

The Website does not currently support automated recurring payments. Your subscription does not renew automatically: to continue receiving deliveries, you must place a new order and make a new payment manually before your current Subscription Term ends.

7. Pricing, Taxes and Payment

Prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST), unless stated otherwise at checkout.

The price depends on your dog's weight, activity level and life stage, and on any Add-ons selected; delivery within the Delivery Area is included in the subscription price of standard Plans.

Payment is accepted via UPI and bank transfer, and is charged in full, in advance.

Price changes

We may revise the price of a Plan. We will notify you of any price change at least seven (7) days before it takes effect, by email, SMS or website notification.

8. Cancellation, Pausing, Skipping and Refunds

• Cancellation: you may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting customer support. To avoid being charged for your next delivery, you must inform us at least seventy-two (72) hours before that delivery's scheduled date.
• Refund on cancellation: we will refund the value of remaining, undelivered meals, less a service charge of ten percent (10%) of that refundable amount.
• Pausing and skipping: you may pause your subscription or skip a delivery at any time, provided you inform us at least seventy-two (72) hours before the next delivery.
• The Community Friends Program follows the same terms.

9. Health, Nutrition and Veterinary Matters

Our recipes are formulated with reference to the FEDIAF (2024) and AAFCO (2016) nutrient guidelines, checked against a full nutrient panel, and balanced over time rather than meal by meal. However, we do not guarantee any specific health outcome for an individual dog.

The Services do not constitute veterinary advice and are not a substitute for consultation with a qualified veterinarian.

If your dog shows signs of an adverse reaction to a Plan, you should stop feeding the affected meal and contact both your veterinarian and our customer support team promptly.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable Indian law, Bowl d'Amour shall not be liable for any illness, allergic reaction, injury, loss or damage suffered by a dog, the Customer or any third party arising out of or in connection with the Services, including where such harm results from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the Customer.

This limitation does not apply to the extent that such harm is directly and solely caused by Bowl d'Amour's proven gross negligence or wilful default, or to the extent liability cannot lawfully be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

11. Delivery

We currently deliver only within the Delivery Area (Delhi NCR). Meals are delivered weekly, in a delivery window selected by the Customer.

For standard Plans, delivery is included in the subscription price. For the Community Friends Program, delivery is charged separately.

Risk and responsibility

Risk in the meals remains with Bowl d'Amour until successful delivery. If meals are damaged, spoiled or affected due to an error attributable to Bowl d'Amour, we will replace the affected meals or issue an account credit, upon notification within twenty-four (24) hours of delivery.

Once meals have been successfully delivered, responsibility for proper storage transfers to the Customer.

Change of delivery address

Any change to your delivery address must be communicated at least twenty-four (24) hours before the next scheduled delivery.

12. Food Preparation and Regulatory Compliance

Meals are prepared in a professional kitchen facility, in small batches, and packed individually, following applicable food safety and hygiene practices.

13. Community Friends Program

The Community Friends Program is offered at a fixed price of ₹2,099 per dog, per month, excluding delivery charges, and without personalisation. Save as set out in this Section, the Program is governed by the same provisions as standard Plans.

14. Intellectual Property

The Website, and all content, recipes, formulations, text, graphics, logos and trademarks made available through it, are owned by or licensed to Charlotte & Udeern LLP and are protected under applicable intellectual property laws.

15. Privacy

We collect and process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on www.bowldamour.in, and applicable Indian data protection law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

We will acknowledge receipt of any grievance within forty-eight (48) hours, and endeavour to resolve it within one (1) month.

17. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations where such delay or failure results from causes beyond our reasonable control.

18. Amendments to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify Customers of material changes at least seven (7) days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

19. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Subject to applicable consumer protection law, the courts at New Delhi, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

20. Miscellaneous

• Entire agreement: these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any order-specific terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and Bowl d'Amour.
• Severability: if any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force.
• No waiver: our failure to enforce any provision shall not be deemed a waiver.
• Assignment: you may not assign your rights without our prior written consent.
• Language: these Terms are drawn up in English, which shall prevail over any translation.
